I mean, printing more money to play politics at this particular time in American history is almost treacherous — or treasonous — in my opinion.
Karl Rove put it politely when he called Perry’s remarks “not presidential.”
The chief investment officer of Vaca Creek Asset Management, highlighted a key concern with Perry’s provocative language on this topic:
Any politician who attacks and wants to remove even a minute piece of the Federal Reserve’s independence is a negative for the confidence investors need to invest in the US.
